Job summary

HUAT LAI RESOURCES BERHAD is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to manage product displays, stock levels and promotions across supermarkets and retail outlets. You will ensure shelves are well stocked, properly arranged and aligned with brand guidelines during regular outlet visits.

The role requires SPM or Diploma or equivalent, plus willingness to travel and build strong retailer relationships. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with good communication and organizational skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, mini markets and retail outlets regularly.
• Ensure company products are properly displayed, well-stocked and neatly arranged.
• Check product availability, shelf space, pricing, product condition and expiry dates.
• Replenish and arrange products on shelves to maintain proper product visibility and availability.
• Ensure promotional displays and point-of-sale materials are properly placed and maintained.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Sales, Warehouse and Logistics teams for product replenishment.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with outlet personnel.
• Take photos of product displays and submit regular outlet visit reports.
• Identify and report stock, display, pricing or outlet-related issues to the supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Merchandiser to join our team. You will be responsible for product merchandising activities at supermarkets, hypermarkets, mini markets and other retail outlets, ensuring our products are well displayed, sufficiently stocked and properly maintained to support sales and brand visibility.

What you’ll be doing

Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, mini markets and retail outlets regularly.

Ensure company products are properly displayed, well-stocked and neatly arranged.

Check product availability, shelf space, pricing, product condition and expiry dates.

Replenish and arrange products on shelves to maintain proper product visibility and availability.

Ensure promotional displays and point-of-sale materials are properly placed and maintained.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Sales, Warehouse and Logistics teams for product replenishment.
