Job summary

Aquina Farming Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Farm Veterinarian to support health, welfare and production on our poultry farms.

This entry-level role is ideal for a fresh veterinary graduate aiming to gain practical experience in farm animal health and production management. Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
• Eligible for registration with the Malaysian Veterinary Council and Annual Practising Certificate.
• Interest in poultry medicine, farm animal health and commercial production.
• Good communication, observation and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a farm environment and travel between farms.
• Able to work independently after appropriate training.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to provide reasonable support during farm emergencies, including occasional weekends or public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine farm visits and monitor flock health, mortality, growth and production performance.
• Perform clinical examinations and post-mortem examinations when required.
• Assist in disease investigation, diagnosis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor vaccination programmes and flock response.
• Support farm biosecurity and disease-prevention programmes.
• Monitor farm environmental conditions including ventilation, temperature, litter quality, ammonia and water quality.
• Provide veterinary advice on appropriate use of medication, vaccines and health products.
• Ensure proper medication records and compliance with withdrawal periods.
• Review farm performance data and identify abnormalities requiring further investigation.
• Prepare farm visit reports and disease investigation reports.
