Job summary

Farm’s Best Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Masjid Tanah, Melaka, seeks a Boiler Technician to operate and maintain boiler systems, ensuring a stable steam supply for production. The role requires relevant certifications and 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and respond to boiler breakdowns promptly while supporting annual inspections and spare parts management. Willingness to work shifts in Masjid Tanah is essential.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or related field required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Boilerman Grade 1 & Grade 2 certificates issued by DOSH.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler equipment to ensure a steady steam supply for production.
• Monitor boiler operation data, safety, and compliance with factory and machinery act.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers.
• Attend boiler breakdowns promptly and perform repairs.
• Prepare for annual boiler inspections by authorities.
• Assist in monitoring boiler spare parts purchasing.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Support other order and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain equipment in boiler hours, specifically boiler to ensure consistent steam supply to production.

Control and monitor boiler machine, including upkeep boiler operation data and safety aspect and compliance to factory and machinery act.

To perform daily inspections and maintenance, preventive maintenance to ensure boiler are in good running condition.

Attend to boiler breakdown as top priority and carry out the repair work efficiently.

To make necessary preparations for annual boiler inspection by the relevant authorities.

Assist in monitoring and updating boiler spare part purchase.

Make small repairs and adjustment when needed.

To assist in order and ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess SPM/ Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical or related certificate.

At least 3 years related working experience in manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Candidate must possess Boilerman Grade 1 & Grade 2 certificate from DOSH.

Experience in quality systems and standards ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, Halal, OSH & GMP will be an advantage.

Able to write and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Possess strong commitment, good communication skills, able to work independently and self-motivated.

Willing to work on shifts.

Applicant must be willing to work at Masjid Tanah, Malacca.
