Job summary

FFM FARMS SDN. BHD. is seeking a hands-on Coordinator, Farm to coordinate daily poultry farm activities, support flock performance and welfare, and ensure safe, efficient operations in line with established procedures.

The role works closely with the Manager, Farm and farm teams to drive smooth operations. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field and at least 3 years of poultry farming experience; Malaysian citizens preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Production, Poultry Science, Agriculture or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant poultry farm operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily farm activities and workforce allocation to support efficient, productive and safe operations.
• Monitor flock husbandry activities including feeding, watering, body weight, flock uniformity, mating performance and egg production as applicable.
• Monitor flock health and welfare, biosecurity, environmental-controlled housing and manure management; promptly report abnormalities or issues.
• Ensure farm resources—labour, poultry, feed, biologics, pharmaceuticals, equipment, machinery, vehicles, buildings and facilities—are properly used, maintained and recorded.
• Ensure proper handling, collection and management of hatching eggs or table eggs, as applicable, per farm procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely flock, production, inventory, stock and administrative records, coordinating with relevant departments for smooth operations.
• Comply with ISO 9001 Quality Management System, occupational safety requirements and applicable farm procedures.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and supervise daily farm activities and workforce allocation to support efficient, productive and safe operations.

Monitor flock husbandry activities, including feeding, watering, body weight, flock uniformity, mating performance and egg production, as applicable to the assigned farm.

Monitor flock health and welfare, biosecurity, environmental-controlled housing and manure management; promptly report abnormalities or operational issues.

Ensure farm resources-including labour, poultry, feed, biologics, pharmaceuticals, equipment, machinery, vehicles, buildings and facilities - are properly used, maintained and recorded.

Ensure proper handling, collection and management of hatching eggs or table eggs, as applicable, in accordance with farm procedures and quality requirements.

Maintain accurate and timely flock, production, inventory, stock and administrative records, and coordinate with relevant departments to support smooth operations.

Comply with the company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001), occupational safety requirements and applicable farm procedures.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Animal Production, Poultry Science, Agriculture or a related discipline.

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in poultry farm operations or flock husbandry.

Knowledge of poultry farm management, flock performance, flock health and welfare, biosecurity and environmental-controlled housing.

Able to plan daily farm activities and coordinate workforce deployment.

Able to maintain accurate production, inventory and stock records.

Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with farm teams and relevant stakeholders.

Physically fit and able to perform hands-on farm duties, including walking around farm areas and carrying out routine operational tasks where required.
