Job summary

Millice in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (Semiconductor) to install, commission, maintain and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment on-site for customers. You will train customers and coordinate status with stakeholders.

You will travel overseas as needed, support pre-sales, and prepare field service reports, ensuring quick resolution of issues. The role requires strong communication, initiative, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least a diploma, degree or related certification in engineering or electronics.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience with semiconductor and electronics manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with tape lamination, tape removal, wafer mounting, wafer grinding, wafer dicing, wafer scribing, wafer breaking, UV irradiation, or relevant semiconductor manufacturing experience with the use, operation or servicing of machines from Takatori, Lintec, Nitto and others will have added advantage.
• Required to travel overseas on short notice.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in understanding customer needs.
• Shows initiative and is a lifelong learner.
• Can work independently and yet is a strong team player.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
