Equipment Inspection & Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspection of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functionality and safe operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to the established maintenance schedule.
- Identify equipment abnormalities, defects, and potential breakdowns.
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed according to the planned schedule.
Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues requiring further attention.
- Coordinate with external technicians or service providers when specialized repair is required.
Spare Parts & Maintenance Tools
- Check and monitor the availability of spare parts required for maintenance and repair.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and stock audits for maintenance spare parts.
- Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and available for use.
- Report any shortage, damage, or replacement requirements to the supervisor.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct equipment safety inspections to ensure equipment is safe for operation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures and operational requirements.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards related to equipment.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in the maintenance area.
Maintenance Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports as required.
- Monitor equipment maintenance history and service schedules.
- Provide updates on equipment condition, maintenance status, and outstanding issues to the supervisor.
Coordination & Operational Support
- Coordinate with warehouse operations to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Provide technical support to warehouse operations when equipment-related issues occur.
- Assist in planning equipment servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma / SPM with 2–3 years of equipment Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in basic understanding of warehouse equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
