Job summary

Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort - Desaru is seeking a maintenance technician in Bandar Penawar, Johor. The role covers repairs, electronics replacements, painting, and routine upkeep of hotel facilities including air conditioners, refrigerators, and lighting.

You will be on-call 24/7 to address guest grievances, perform safety checks on fire alarms and extinguishers, and assist HR in inspecting staff housing, with duties spanning building and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Repair of various equipment and materials.
• Replacement of electronics and wiring.
• Painting and cleaning tasks.
• Regular maintenance of electronics like refrigerators, TV sets and air conditioners.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and fulfill work orders when issues cannot be resolved.
• Check safety equipment (fire alarms, extinguishers) are in place and functional.
• Refurbishing chairs, tables, doors, windows and counters for long-term maintenance.
• Ground maintenance of parking lots, gardens, landscaping and swimming pool areas.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies to address guest grievances.
• Assist HR to inspect staff hostel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replacement tasks for hotel equipment and electricals.
• Perform painting, wiring and routine maintenance as required.
• Ensure safety devices are present and functioning properly.
• Respond to guest issues and complete work orders promptly.
• Carry out grounds and facility maintenance including pool and gardens.

Must perform task like repairing of various equipment's and materials, replacement of electronics, painting, cleaning or wiring work.

Also maintenance of electronics like refrigerators, television sets, air conditioners etc. must be done regularly.

Responding and solving guest complains or issues in timely manner and must also fulfill work orders when issues cannot be resolved.

To keep a check that safety equipment's like fire alarm, fire extinguisher etc. are in place and are in working condition.

Refurbishing of chairs, tables, doors, windows and counters in order to keep it maintained for a long time.

Ground maintenance like cleaning and maintenance of parking lot, garden or landscaping, swimming pool etc.

Must be on call 24/7 for emergency to know if guest have any grievances.

Assist HR personnel to inspect staff Hostel when needed.

Common tasks include painting, electrical accessory replacements and repair, and some wiring. Air conditioners must also be cleaned or replaced regularly.

Workers also are required to complete daily rounds, checking on basic hotel accommodations and identifying and reporting any problems.
