Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to perform all work orders or maintenance requests efficiently within the expected time frame and provide feedback on status.

The role ensures the Engineering store has adequate spare parts for maintenance needs, keeps all work areas tidy and tools organized, and regularly checks hotel equipment for proper operation with corrective actions as required. Ongoing training and familiarity with fire equipment are also expected.

Qualifications

• Perform all work orders or maintenance requests efficiently within the expected time frame.
• Provide feedback on actual status of tasks.
• Familiarity with inventory and spare parts management.
• Maintain orderly workshop and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Regularly check conditions of hotel equipment and installations and take corrective actions as needed.
• Attend job training to upgrade skills and knowledge.
• Familiarise with fire-fighting equipment, locations, and operations and be a member of fire crew.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Engineering store has adequate supplies of spare parts for maintenance requirements.
• Keep work areas and workshop tidy and organized; ensure tools/equipment are in good condition.
• Regularly inspect hotel equipment/installations and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Participate in training to upgrade skills and knowledge.
• Be familiar with fire-fighting equipment and locations; act as a fire crew member.

Ensures that all work areas/workshop are in orderly manner and all tools or equipment are organised and in good condition

Regularly routine check the conditions of the hotel equipment/installation and to take appropriate corrective measures

Regularly attend job training and other forms of training to upgrade his skills and knowledge

Familiarise himself with all fire-fighting equipment, locations, operations and be a member of fire crew
