Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a technical writer to create and maintain top-quality documentation for Product Inspection solutions, translating complex technical content into user-friendly manuals and guides. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and SMEs to ensure accuracy and timely releases.

You will use Schema ST4, CCMS, and XML/DITA standards, support localization workflows, and adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines while driving content automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience in tech industries.
• Experience documenting products with software, hardware, electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, product managers, and SMEs.
• Experience managing documentation across multiple releases.
• Working knowledge of CCMS.
• Higher qualification in Technical Communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical documentation including manuals, installation guides, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, user-focused content meeting standards.
• Maintain documentation for Product Inspection solutions and support product launches.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and SMEs to gather and validate information.
• Develop structured content using Schema ST4 and component content management methodologies.
• Coordinate localization and translation workflows with providers.
• Ensure documents comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, safety guidelines.
