Job summary

Tech Staffing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to produce and maintain high-quality support documentation for engineering products used globally by telco operators. You will create user manuals and release notes while gaining deep product understanding to craft compelling content.

You will collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers and Owners across the full development lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Degree preferred but not required.

We’re partnering with a global telco software providers seeking an experienced Technical Writer to produce and maintain high-quality support documentation for engineering products (proprietary software), used globally across telco operators.

• Create detailed documentation resources, including user manuals and release notes
• Gain a thorough understanding of the organisations’ products and services and convert the product details into captivating content
• Contribute throughout the entire product development process, from concept creation to receiving feedback from end users
• Create engaging and informative content that helps users navigate products effortlessly
• Keep up with the organisation’s needs for documentation across projects and products
• Proofread and edit documents to ensure complete accuracy before release
• Work closely with the Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy in content
• Support knowledge sharing and documentation improvements across teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ technical writing experience
• Possess a keen eye for detail
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A degree in Communication, Linguistic, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
