Job summary

Verinon Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Technical Writer (3-6 years) in Malaysia to document software and mobile applications. You will collaborate with product, engineering and QA teams to gather requirements, and transform complex concepts into clear, concise manuals, guides and in-app text.

The role emphasizes producing high-quality documentation, thorough attention to detail, and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts for end-users and developers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field.
• Experience in technical writing of software documentation.
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with the SDLC and software development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical documentation for the myASNB mobile application.
• Work with internal teams to understand product and documentation needs.
• Produce high-quality documentation meeting applicable standards for the intended audience.
• Write user interface text, online help and developer guides.
• Create tutorials to help end-users use various applications.
• Analyze existing content for reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Create and maintain the information architecture.

Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field of business-related field
• Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development

Purpose of Role

• The purpose of this role is to provide technical documentations for myASNB mobile application.
