Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a Technical Support Protégé Trainee at its Kuala Lumpur location. The role involves assisting the Technical Engineer with project activities, applying knowledge of circuit diagrams and data analytics, and facilitating workshops while documenting agendas and minutes.

You will interact with the customer side and support testing activities. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; networking knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required or welcome; postgraduate quals optional.
• Networking/data communication knowledge would be preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and AutoCAD with other engineering software is beneficial.
• High professionalism in job and relations with others.

Technical Support Protégé Trainee (Ref. No. R1012710)

at our location in Kuala-Lumpur

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Assist the Technical Engineer for the Project activities.
• Use your knowledge of circuit diagrams and data analytics
• Facilitate workshops and other meetings, including documenting agendas, minutes and following up where appropriate.
• Interact with the customer side
• Support testing activities.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Postgraduate qualifications are welcome but not essential.
• Networking / Data Communication System knowledge would be preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and skill of AutoCAD and other software (ex: relevant Engineering Software) which will be the benefit throughout this role.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the job and in relations with others
• The skills to grasp complex technical concepts quickly, including process flows and policies.
• The ability to collate information and produce comprehensive reports.
• An eye for detail and the ability to analyse problems and develop practical solutions.
• The skills to plan and organise workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
