Job summary

AEM Microtronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking two full-time Field Service Engineers to support installation, commissioning, and on-site training.

You will collaborate with engineering teams on NPD/NPI, perform FMEA and prototype builds, lead troubleshooting, and deliver product training to internal FSEs and customers. Building strong customer relationships and providing timely technical resolutions are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of servo, stepper motion control, industrial devices/sensors, machine control, PLC, and automation.
• Experience with troubleshooting, working on multiple projects, and proficiency in AEM platforms.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing with leadership skills.
• Electrical or Electronics, Mechatronics background.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on NPD, NPI, DOE, FMEA and prototype builds.
• Provide technical expertise and support for installation, issues, and training to internal teams and customers.
• Lead support efforts, manage escalations, and conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers.
• Set up and integrate tools at customer sites to optimize resource utilization.
• Maintain documentation and records of troubleshooting activities and service actions.
• Deliver product training to internal Field Service Engineers (FSE) and customers onsite.
• Foster strong relationships with product principals and relay customer feedback for enhancements.
• Identify and report design, reliability, or maintenance issues to R&D and Product Planning.
