Job summary

Versasec AB is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Cloud & PKI/FIDO to join a remote, globally distributed team in Malaysia. You will support on‑prem and cloud PKI/FIDO environments, troubleshoot tickets, and help deploy security solutions for customers around the world.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international teams, ongoing product testing, and the onboarding of new SaaS customers to ensure secure, scalable credential management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support, IT security, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on PKI, FIDO, CA, Windows AD and Windows VM experience.
• Excellent English communication; comfortable with international remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for on‑prem and cloud PKI/FIDO environments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer tickets with clear communication to customers and internal teams.
• Conduct ongoing product testing and validation to ensure reliability.
• Assist customers in deploying security solutions remotely and securely.
• Onboard new SaaS customers and enable smooth adoption of services.
• Coordinate SaaS maintenance and release cycles and drive automation improvements.

Technical Support Engineer - Cloud & PKI/FIDO

for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Selangor / Kuala Lumpur.

Versasec provides on-prem and in the cloud secure systems for end-to-end credential management. Our software solutions are essential for creating a zero-trust architecture and defending against cyber risks, and enable enterprise rollout of device-bound credentials with PKI and FIDO2 passkeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical support for on-prem and cloud applications, focusing on PKI and FIDO authentication environments.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues reported through customer support tickets. This involves communication with customers as well as internal Support and development teams.
  
• Conducting continuous product testing.
• Assisting customers in deploying and configuring security solutions (mostly remote)
• Onboard new SaaS customers
• Coordinate and monitor routine maintenance and release cycles for SaaS customers
• Continuous implementation of automations and service improvements

Qualifications and skills for you to be successful in this role

• 3+ years of experience in Technical Support, IT security, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with PKI, FIDO, certificate authorities, Windows AD and domains, as well as Windows VM environments
• Customer-focus with attention to detail
• Analytical skills, including critical thinking, debugging, judgment, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and use-case analysis
• Very good verbal and written English languages communication and presentation skills (any second language is appreciated)
• Work with international remote teams. This is a remote position. You are self-organized and enjoy working independently, effectively and efficiently from home.
