Job summary

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd is seeking a field-based technical support specialist to assist dealers with complex vehicle diagnostic issues and to provide guidelines, training, and updates.

The role ensures consistent service quality across all dealerships, responds to technical inquiries, guides technicians remotely with step-by-step solutions, escalates unresolved cases to the factory, and helps prepare technical reports to identify recurring problems.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealer/service centre environment.
• Exposure to vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Experience handling technical cases or escalations.

Reporting & Quality

• Prepare technical reports and track common issues
• Identify recurring defects and quality problems

Training Ability

• Conduct training sessions for dealer technicians
• Explain new models and systems clearly
• Share troubleshooting techniques effectively

Job Requirements:

Experience Required

• Background in dealer or service centre environment
• Exposure to vehicle diagnostics and repair
• Experience handling technical cases or escalations

Technical Skills

• Advanced troubleshooting (engine, fuel injection system, electrical)
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams
• Strong root cause analysis skills (not just fixing, but explaining why)

IT & Tools

• Proficient in diagnostic systems/software
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Communication Skills

• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to explain technical issues simply to both technicians and management

Travel Requirements

• Willing to travel across Malaysia for dealer visits
