Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a qualified Service Manager in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur area, to drive service management, optimization and proposals. You will lead field service activities across pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, ensuring safety compliance and timely delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in renewable energy or power electronics service, and at least 2 years hands-on Solar PV experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in service in renewable energy or power electronics.
• Hands-on Solar PV experience for at least 2 years (installation and commissioning).
• High level of commitment and responsiveness.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
• Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems and PV inverter.
• Project management skills in an international environment with global stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English communication; Chinese is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Service management, process optimization, service offers and proposals.
• Conduct service sales work to meet the yearly target.
• Oversee the field service operation from pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance work, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
• Ensuring that the on-site services comply with the local work health and safety requirements.
• Planning and coordinating tasks as well as liaising with other divisions of the business to complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Keep a good record of the service cases, spare parts & unit inventory, consumption records, and service revenue & expenses.
• Organize, participate and accompany customers on long-term cooperation greeting and social activities.
• Communicate with the management, sales team, local service partners, and customers to support business development.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or other Engineering-related courses.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in service in the renewable energy industry or power electronics industry.
• Hands-on Solar PV experience for at least 2 years (project installation and commissioning).
