Job summary

Cypark Resources Berhad invites a project engineer to support solar PV and renewable-energy project delivery—from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

You will coordinate activities with engineering teams, consultants, contractors and vendors; track schedules and technical submissions; assist with PV layouts, site assessments and drawings; and prepare progress reports, dashboards and action trackers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
• Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, project engineering or coordination (3–5 years)
• Knowledge of solar PV layouts, yield analysis and electrical drawings
• Exposure to PVSyst, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
• Strong coordination, reporting and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; understanding of costs, payback, ROI

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking counterparts on project coordination and technical matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Energy & Environmental Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in solar PV, renewable energy, project engineering or project coordination.
• Knowledge of solar PV layouts, yield analysis and electrical drawings.
• Exposure to PVSyst, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Strong coordination, reporting, problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a basic understanding of project costs, payback and ROI.

Hands-on solar design, site execution and commissioning experience is preferred. Exposure to BESS, hybrid systems or utility-scale solar, and familiarity with regulatory approval processes, will be an advantage.
