Job summary

ACE LUBRICANTS & CHEMICALS SDN. BHD is seeking a Technical Sales Executive / Technical & Costing Executive to prepare product costing, cost breakdowns and selling price calculations for lubricants, sealants, adhesives and other chemical products.

You will prepare quotations and respond to technical enquiries while liaising with R&D, Production, Purchasing and Sales to ensure accuracy and pricing integrity. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Industrial

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or related field.
• Experience in product costing, quotation preparation, or technical support preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills; able to explain technical information clearly.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product costing, cost breakdowns and selling price calculations for lubricants, sealants, adhesives and other chemical products.
• Prepare quotations for customers based on product specifications, raw material costs, packaging, production costs and required profit margins.
• Review and update product costing when there are changes in raw material prices and packaging costs.
• Respond to customers’ technical enquiries regarding product specifications, applications, performance and suitability.
• Liaise with R&D, Production, Purchasing and Sales to obtain technical information and ensure quotation accuracy.
• Assist Sales in identifying suitable products and providing technical information to support customer requirements by liaising with R&D.
• Follow up on quotations and coordinate with relevant departments to address customer enquiries and requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of product costing, quotations, customer specifications and technical documentation.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

This role involves preparing product costing, cost breakdowns and selling price calculations for lubricants, sealants, adhesives and other chemical products. Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or a related field.

Experience in product costing, quotation preparation, technical support or a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

Meticulous, organised, responsible and able to work independently.

Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
