Job summary

Our client in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a technically grounded Sales Engineer to actively hunt for opportunities within key accounts across the semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and chemical processing sectors. You will perform on-site inspections, coordinate pump demonstrations, and assist maintenance and production engineers with system troubleshooting.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, 2–4 years of technical sales

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Minimum 2–4 years of technical sales experience in industrial manufacturing.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle for local travel.
Energetic hunter mentality and ability to handle high-volume quotation pipelines.

Responsibilities

Account-level hunting to discover new project leads and upgrade opportunities.
Conduct on-site inspections, coordinate pump demonstrations, and assist maintenance and production engineers.
Prepare competitive quotations and execute on-site trial/loan pump evaluations.
Collaborate with backend technical support and service teams for seamless installations.
Track market intelligence to replace competitor vacuum brands with our products.
