Job summary

Min Industries Sdn Bhd in Beranang, Selangor is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

You will translate client requirements into viable solutions, prepare proposals, demonstrate products, and support customers through the sales cycle. Strong CAD skills, English and Malay proficiency, and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within civil/mechanical engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
• Proven track record of closing sales and achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing interpretation.
• Ability to conduct site visits and provide solutions-based recommendations.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand client technical requirements and translate them into viable product and service solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations based on client specifications and project scope.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective and existing clients.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales process, including feasibility assessments and design consultations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations and technical standards.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities within assigned accounts and market segments.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activities.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients to ensure customer retention and repeat business.
• Provide post-sale technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and technological advancements.
