Job summary

TT Vision Technologies in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks a Commercial Support Specialist to manage quotation, costing, order coordination and marketing support for industrial automation projects.

You will liaise with engineering, procurement and supply chain, analyze BOMs, maintain pricing databases and handle international trade aspects. Prior experience in B2B sales support and CRM is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end costing and quotation process for parts, upgrades, and automation components.
• Analyze BOMs to ensure accurate pricing and margins.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain on costs, availability and lead times.
• Maintain pricing databases, sales risk logs, and commercial docs.
• Process incoming orders, verify terms, and handover to project teams.
• Bridge between client and Logistics for shipping docs and Incoterms.
• Track manufacturing progress and align installation schedules.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify leads for Sales Management.
• Develop technical marketing collateral and assist with major exhibitions.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Commercial support, order coordination, or costing role, ideally within industrial automation, high-tech manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to read technical documents, understand equipment specifications, and comfortably discuss industrial hardware.
• Commercial Skills: Proven experience in generating complex quotations and coordinating the B2B order lifecycle. A working understanding of international trade practices and cross-functional team coordination is highly advantageous.
• Attributes: Highly organized, and detail-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Descriptions of job duties :

Quotation & Costing Management

• Manage the end-to-end costing and quotation process for technical spare parts, system upgrades, and automation components.
• Analyze technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure highly accurate pricing and margin calculations.
• Liaise closely with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams to verify component costs, availability, and production lead times.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, sales risk logs, and commercial documentation.

Order Management & Internal Coordination

• Process incoming purchase orders, verify commercial terms, and facilitate a seamless handover to the internal Project teams for execution.
• Act as the primary commercial bridge between the client and the Logistics team, ensuring client delivery expectations, required shipping documentation, and agreed Incoterms are clearly communicated.
• Liaise with the Project Team to track manufacturing progress, partial deliveries, and align onsite installation or service crew schedules with the client's timeline.

Sales Operations & Enquiry Follow-up

• Act as the commercial and technical liaison for inbound customer enquiries, ensuring rapid and accurate follow-ups.
• Qualify leads by understanding the client's basic technical requirements before escalating complex system discussions to Sales Management.
• Track the sales pipeline and manage CRM records to provide full visibility into active deals and post-sale support.

Marketing Support

• Develop and maintain technical marketing collateral, product presentations, and specification sheets for client meetings.
• Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of major international industry exhibitions and trade shows (coordinating booth requirements, equipment displays, and client invitations).
• Conduct basic market monitoring on industry hardware trends and competitor activities to support strategic sales initiatives.
