Job summary

Rotho Blaas USA Inc is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Johor Bahru to promote timber construction and safety systems across Malaysia and nearby markets. You will network at industry events, present innovative solutions, and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has proven sales experience with technical products, a Civil Engineering degree or architectural background, and strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SketchUp).

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with technical products.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or architectural background is a strong advantage.
• Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Network at industry events and trade shows to expand the client base.
• Organize and lead visits, presentations, and training sessions for clients.
• Develop relationships with architects, carpenters, retailers and safety specialists.
• Offer expert technical advice on timber construction, passive house buildings and safety systems.

Job description

• Agreed fees for the provision of services, with the possibility of an annual incentive linked to commercial targets previously defined between the parties.
• Possibility of accessing technological tools necessary for the execution of the services, as mutually agreed .
• Access to product information and technical sessions related to the solutions covered by the collaboration .
• Invitation to voluntarily participate in professional events and networking activities.
• Communication with the headquarters in Italian , German, English, French or Spanish.
• Possibility , upon prior agreement, to attend technical meetings and professional exchange sessions at the company’s headquarters in Italy.

IF YOU HAVE:

• Proven sales experience with technical products
• Degree in Civil Engineering or A rchitect experience in the construction industry is considered a strong advantage
• Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using both AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Highly tech ‑ savvy, with a quick grasp of digital tools and new technologies
• Good command of English and Chinese , both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore
• Ability to work independently and manage activities autonomously
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Preferably based in Johor Bahru
