Job summary

Rothoblaas, a global leader in timber construction solutions, is seeking a driven sales professional in Johor Bahru to expand our client base across Malaysia and Singapore.

You will leverage your technical product knowledge to engage architects, engineers and contractors, presenting innovative solutions, organizing visits, and delivering expert product advice. Willingness to travel and work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with technical products.
• Civil Engineering degree or Architect experience in construction is advantageous.
• Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Tech-savvy with quick grasp of digital tools and new technologies.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore.
• Able to work independently and manage activities autonomously.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Preferably based in Johor Bahru.

Job description

• Agreed fees for the provision of services, with the possibility of an annual incentive linked to commercial targets previously defined between the parties.
• Possibility of accessing technological tools necessary for the execution of the services, as mutually agreed.
• Access to product information and technical sessions related to the solutions covered by the collaboration.
• Invitation to voluntarily participate in professional events and networking activities.
• Communication with the headquarters in Italian, German, English, French or Spanish.
• Possibility, upon prior agreement, to attend technical meetings and professional exchange sessions at the company's headquarters in Italy.

IF YOU HAVE:

• Proven sales experience with technical products
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect experience in the construction industry is considered a strong advantage
• Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using both AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Highly tech-savvy, with a quick grasp of digital tools and new technologies
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore
• Ability to work independently and manage activities autonomously
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Preferably based in Johor Bahru
