Job summary

Rothoblaas SRL is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant for Malaysia, based in Johor Bahru with travel to Singapore. The role involves promoting timber construction solutions, engaging industry professionals, and delivering technical recommendations.

Freelance engagement with potential annual incentives linked to targets. Must have proven sales experience with technical products, a civil engineering degree or architectural background, and proficiency with AutoCAD/SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with technical products.
• Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore.
• Based in Johor Bahru preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with architects, carpenters, retailers and safety specialists in Malaysia and Singapore.
• Present technical solutions for timber construction, passive house buildings and safety systems.
• Organize visits and training sessions to showcase products.
• Provide expert technical advice and support to customers.

Job description

Agreed fees for the provision of services, with the possibility of an annual incentive linked to commercial targets previously defined between the parties.

Possibility of accessing technological tools necessary for the execution of the services, as mutually agreed.

Access to product information and technical sessions related to the solutions covered by the collaboration.

Invitation to voluntarily participate in professional events and networking activities.

Communication with the headquarters in Italian, German, English, French or Spanish.

Possibility, upon prior agreement, to attend technical meetings and professional exchange sessions at the company’s headquarters in Italy.

IF YOU HAVE:

Proven sales experience with technical products

Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect experience in the construction industry is considered a strong advantage

Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings using both AutoCAD and SketchUp

Highly tech‑savvy, with a quick grasp of digital tools and new technologies

Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken

Willingness to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore

Ability to work independently and manage activities autonomously

Valid driver’s license and passport

Preferably based in Johor Bahru
