Job summary
Motorola Solutions in Penang seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead embedded device development from concept to production release. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in product/solutions development, 3+ years in program management, and a strong SDLC/software architecture background; PMP certification is a plus for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of total experience in product or solutions development.
- 3+ years in a dedicated Program Management role.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, and complex schedule management.
- Knowledge of SDLC and software architecture.
Responsibilities
- Drive product development from initiation to production release with master schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate across software, hardware engineering, and supply chain/manufacturing to resolve blockers.
- Lead sprint planning, release tracking, and project delivery using Jira and Agile frameworks.
- Provide weekly status updates on program health, budget, and risks to senior management.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to ensure quality deliverables.
