Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan and coordinate deployments of new software and hardware releases across AMEA MSS clients, ensuring systems stay on current supported versions.

You will lead cross-functional upgrade projects, driving technical discussions and translating complexities into actionable delivery plans, with a focus on governance, risk management and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Information Technology.
• 4–7 years of proven technical project management experience in telecom networks, systems integration, complex software deployments, or IT managed services.
• Strong technical background in LMR / Wireless Systems (TETRA, APX, P25), IP Networking, Servers and IT terminology.
• Hands-on proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, ServiceNow.
• Resourceful self-starter able to manage priorities and work independently in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical Governance & Lifecycle Management: serve as liaison to align scope with stakeholders and leaders.
• Project Management: oversee baselines, schedules, budgets, and KPIs, manage dependencies and risks.
• Risk mitigation: proactively address risks, blockers and trade-offs before deadlines.
• Stakeholder Alignment: collaborate with Technical Leads, System Engineers, Solution Architects, and Field Service Managers.
• Reporting: provide regular executive status updates and risk assessments to AMEA leadership.
