Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects onsite in Malaysia, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes in a banking/financial services setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive project governance, documentation, testing, deployment and sign-offs.

The role requires 8+ years in IT project management, PMP/PRINCE2, and strong leadership and stakeholder management; knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience, including 4+ years in banking or financial services.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification required; Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale IT projects using tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Treasury, Wholesale Banking, Market Data, or systems such as Murex, FinIQ, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and project closure.
• Coordinate with business, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, governance processes, documentation, testing, deployment, and implementation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards and complete project closure, documentation, and sign-offs.
