APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is seeking an Executive (Engineer), Technical to execute, coordinate, and supervise the department’s operations aligned with company objectives. The role covers product design and development, testing, troubleshooting, process and quality improvements, and ensuring products meet quality and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in new product development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply based on technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head of plant/R&D to ensure effective management and control of the technical department.
• Coordinate problem solving and communication across departments to achieve targets.
• Prepare monthly activity reports for the head of department.
• Identify and source subcontractors for cost-down activities.
• Develop subcontractor quality and technical activities.
• Plan and monitor product development & tooling progress for new models to ensure smooth mass production.
• Monitor development progress to meet schedule and localization targets.
• Respond promptly to design problems and lead countermeasure activities.
• Study designs, develop new samples for customer approval and supplier discussions.
• Arrange localization samples for evaluation, inspection and design verification.
• IATF16949 and ISO14001 procedures implemented and maintained at all levels.
• Enforce company policies, rules and regulations.
