Job summary

TC Precision in Johor Bahru is seeking a hands-on Technical Operator with experience in SMT production to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and run the SMT line independently, adjust basic parameters, and ensure quality while maintaining records.

The ideal candidate has experience on SMT equipment, understands pick-and-place and reflow processes, works well with engineers and QA, and is meticulous and reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating SMT equipment or working on an SMT production line.
• Basic understanding of pick and place machines, reflow processes, and SMT assembly.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow production requirements accurately.
• Meticulous, reliable and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT production equipment.
• Run the SMT line independently according to production requirements.
• Perform machine setup, feeder loading and basic parameter adjustments.
• Monitor production and identify basic machine or process issues.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting where required.
• Ensure correct components and materials are used for each production run.
• Guide and coordinate other production operators when required.
• Maintain good production records and housekeeping.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.

• Meticulous and quality conscious
• Responsible, reliable and willing to learn
• Able to work well with other team members
• Experience in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing or EMS environments will be an advantage
