Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a leading sealing solutions manufacturer. The role focuses on technical leadership, roadmap definition, and manufacturing excellence across rubber applications. The candidate will lead complex technical decisions and support customers with optimal sealing solutions.

Responsibilities include material selection, process standardization, and technology transfer. CAD/AutoCAD proficiency and project management experience are required for success in this senior role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or materials engineering is required.
• 5–10 years in rubber environments with sealing applications preferred.
• Strong problem solving and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define the company's technical roadmap and manufacturing capabilities.
• Lead technical discussions with customers on new applications.
• Suggest material selection and support coating development.
• Support RFQs by validating technical feasibility and manufacturing approach.
• Develop process standards and ensure successful industrialization.

Job Description

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Define the company's technical roadmap and manufacturing capabilities.
• Act as the highest technical authority for products, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical decision-making for complex production and customer issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical standards and manufacturing excellence. Product, Materials & Customer Applications
• Review customer applications and recommend appropriate sealing solutions.
• Define material selection (including material surface coating) and support compound development.
• Lead technical discussions with customers on new applications.
• Support RFQs by validating technical feasibility and manufacturing approach.

Manufacturing Technology & Industrialization

• Define the optimal manufacturing process (compression, transfer, injection molding, etc.) for new products.
• Lead the introduction of new production technologies, equipment and manufacturing methods (recommend best technol ogy, support in machine installation and setup).
• Develop process standards and ensure successful industrialization of new products.
• Ensure effective technology transfer from equipment suppliers and Group experts to the local organization.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or material engineering or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years significant experience in Rubber envinronment
• Knowledge on rubber production
• Knowledge on sealing applications,
• Strong technical problem solving skills
• Project Management experience
• CAD/ Autocad experience
• Knowledge of IT-Tools (MS Office, Sales Tools)
