Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Manager for Rubber Sealing in Vietnam. The role requires defining the technical roadmap, serving as the top technical authority on products and processes, and steering complex manufacturing decisions for customer projects.

The position emphasizes manufacturing technology, material selection, and customer collaboration to drive innovation and industrialization across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or material engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years significant experience in Rubber environment.
• Knowledge on rubber production.
• Knowledge on sealing applications.
• Strong technical problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and manufacturing capabilities.
• Act as the highest technical authority for products, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical decision-making for complex production and customer issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical standards and manufacturing excellence.
• Review customer applications and recommend appropriate sealing solutions.
• Define material selection and support compound development.
• Lead technical discussions with customers on new applications.
• Support RFQs by validating technical feasibility and manufacturing approach.
• Define the optimal manufacturing process for new products.
• Lead the introduction of new production technologies and equipment.
• Develop process standards and ensure successful industrialization of new products.
