Job summary

MINDe Group in Kedah, Malaysia seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive industrialization and process optimization for hydraulic hose production. You will manage an engineering team, oversee production readiness, and implement standards across processes and equipment layouts, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in rubber/hydraulic hose environments, strong mechanical/electrical background, and proficiency in Office tools and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in rubber/hydraulic hose manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic hose production, rubber/plastic processes, extrusion, and reinforcement machinery.
• Solid process engineering expertise.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Familiar with hydraulic systems and product applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AI tools, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering and industrialization projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Manage the industrialization of hydraulic hoses and materials, including lab result analysis and production readiness.
• Develop and standardize production processes, procedures, and regulations to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to optimize production efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Lead and supervise the engineering team, including staff performance and recruitment.
• Support production, plant expansion, equipment layout, material handling, and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, legal, HSEC, and company requirements.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and other departments.

Job Requirements:
