Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia (Subang Jaya, Selangor) seeks a Technical Manager to ensure high-quality product delivery. This full-time role based in Subang Jaya focuses on technical support, product recommendations, and coordinating with R&D to drive growth and success for the organization.

The ideal candidate has a degree in polymer science or chemistry with at least 10 years in polymer/rubber industries, plus rubber product manufacturing experience and willingness to travel abroad as part of

• Minimum 10 years working experience in polymer / rubber industries.
• Experience in rubber product manufacturing is a plus.
• Willing to undertake periodic travelling abroad and work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers for processing problems.
• Introduce or recommend best suited products for customers' operations.
• Conduct in-house seminars/technical discussions for identified customers.
• Indirectly promoting Company's products to achieve orders.
• Follow up on sample approvals and evaluations as requested.
• Coordinate with R&D / Application lab for new product evaluation and technical presentations.

About the role As the Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, this is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

To provide technical support to customer in terms of developing and/or solving their processing problems.

To introduce or recommend the best suited products which are beneficial to their working.

To conduct in house seminar/technical discussion to identified customer(s).

Indirectly promoting Company's products commercially to achieve the final goal (order secured).

Sample (requested by agent/customer) Approval and Evaluation follow up.

Technical training (for distributor/agent) - Introduction to rubber technology, products briefing, products applications in both rubber and plastics/WPC industries.

Coordinate working with R&D / Application lab - new product evaluation, prepare technical presentation.

What we're looking for

Degree in Polymer Science / Chemistry.

Minimum 10 years working experience in polymer / rubber industries.

Experience in rubber product manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Able to undertake periodic travelling abroad and work in a global team of professionals.

Proven leadership and ability to drive technical teams.
