Job summary

AMD Solutions Sdn Bhd is recruiting a Technical Engineer to install, test, and commission medical devices across hospitals in Malaysia. You will perform electrical safety tests, maintain devices per PPM, and assist clinicians with software upgrades to improve usability.

You will troubleshoot hardware issues, respond to service calls within 4 hours, and uphold high professional standards while coordinating with HCPs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission medical devices at hospitals.
• Perform Electrical Safety Tests on new assets.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and document service reports.
• Assist HCPs with software upgrades to latest versions.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical parts of devices.
• Respond to calls within 4 hours with a backup plan.
• Maintain professional conduct with HCPs.
• Lead project management tasks with scheduling, documentation and coordination.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and provide technical support.

Job description

Installing, testing & commissioning, optimizing medical device at hospital and ensure high functionality of the devices.

Conducting the Electrical Safety Test for all assets installation during testing & commissioning if needed.

Servicing medical device following the Preventive Plan Maintenance (PPM) checklist as scheduled and ensure a signed copy of service report & checklist retained as company’s record.

Assisting Healthcare Professional (HCP) to upgrade software to the latest version when available to provide better usability of clinical sample, etc.

Troubleshooting & repairing any breakdown mechanical parts of the medical devices.

Attending to troubleshooting calls, resolve the problem/alarms of the medical device within 4 hours and provide backup plan if problem persists.

Maintaining the highest standard of personal conduct and provide professional service while interacting with Healthcare Professional (HCP).

Project Management that includes Gantt chart, coordination, commanding, leading, communicating, planning with a proper documentation.

Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, providing technical support, and contributing to the development of innovative healthcare solutions.
