Job summary

Maha Asia is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive, Technical Client Solutions to grow the Material Science business in Singapore while based in Malaysia. You will manage customer accounts, identify opportunities, and collaborate with principals and suppliers to deliver tailored solutions.

The role focuses on Surface Technologies including coatings, inks, construction and adhesive materials, with exposure to Engineering Materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business or a related field.
• Chemistry-related educational background or relevant working experience in chemical industry.
• 1–5 years of experience in sales, customer service or a technical-commercial role; fresh graduates with a relevant chemistry-related educational background may also be considered.
• Experience in B2B account management and business development is preferred.
• Exposure to coatings, inks, construction or adhesive raw materials is an advantage; exposure to plastic additives or Advanced Cleaning Solutions is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer management skills.
• Organised, responsive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to support relevant customer and principal communications.
• Exposure to working with international principals and cross-functional teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned Singapore customer accounts through regular engagement, timely follow-up and strong relationship management.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
• Work closely with internal teams, principals and suppliers to support customer requirements, product solutions, customer trials and deal execution.
• Coordinate technical inputs, order follow-up and service delivery to ensure smooth customer support.
• Gather market, customer and competitor insights to support account development and business growth.
• Maintain accurate sales and customer information.
• Support Regional Managers on selected business opportunities across Southeast Asia.
• Take on other business projects assigned by the company.
