Job summary

Atotech, a brand of MKS, is seeking a Business Development Manager in Malaysia to drive profitable growth for functional electronic coatings. You will lead regional market development, manage strategic accounts, and oversee Technical Sales Engineers to deliver sustained revenue growth across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, with significant international travel.

You will collaborate with Global Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to identify

Qualifications

8–15 years of experience in technical sales, business development, product management, or commercial leadership within electronics materials, electroplating, semiconductor, or surface finishing industries.
Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or team management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Electrochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Develop regional business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Identify high-growth market segments and opportunities in semiconductor packaging, leadframe, connectors, power electronics, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and industrial electronics.
Develop annual business plans, sales forecasts, and growth initiatives.
Monitor market trends, customer investment plans, and competitive activities to identify strategic opportunities.
Lead, coach, and develop Technical Sales Engineers to achieve business objectives.
Establish performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
Define product positioning and launch strategies with Global Product Management.
