Job summary

AMK Technology is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in Kuala Lumpur. You will work in an Agile, technology-driven environment, collaborating with business, product, engineering, architecture, and external vendors to clarify requirements and enable successful software delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in an Agile product/technology environment with ADO (Azure DevOps).
• Excellent requirements elicitation and documentation skills including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with business, product, engineering, architecture and external vendors to clarify requirements and close gaps.
• Solid understanding of system integrations and APIs; translate between business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive ownership to identify dependencies, risks, gaps and decisions with minimal direction.
• Ability to drive initiative from discovery through refinement to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Clarify and document business requirements and translate into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product, engineering and architecture.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps; drive decisions and actions to unblock delivery.
• Engage with external vendors when required to clarify requirements and ensure integration points are defined.

Requirements

• Strong experience working in an Agile product/technology environment with ADO experience
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional requirements
• Ability to work directly with business, product, engineering, architecture, and external vendors to clarify requirements and resolve gaps
• Good understanding of system integrations/APIs and ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive ownership - able to identify dependencies, risks, gaps and required decisions without needing continuous direction
• Ability to take an initiative from early discovery through refinement and delivery support.
