Job summary

AMK Technology in Malaysia is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join the testing team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design, implement and run performance tests using JMeter and LoadRunner, and assess scalability across delivery methodologies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of performance testing experience, with strong REST/HTTP testing knowledge, and hands-on experience in test frameworks and service virtualization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
• Experience evaluating scalability, throughput and load testing metrics.
• Strong knowledge of testing across Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Proficiency with test tools and environment virtualization.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and execute performance tests using JMeter/LoadRunner.
• Analyze results, forecast performance, and report SLAs/targets.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure delivery timelines.

Performance Tester

Job Requirements

• YOE: 5+ years
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field.
• Proven working experience as SeniorPerformanceTester, or equivalent role with at min 5 years relevant experience using load runner/Jmeter
• Proven experience with design & implementation of testing tools supporting the various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall
• Knowledge of technologies used in building scalable, distributed systems in service virtualization
• Proficient with cloud-like environments and respectiveperformance trade-offs.
• Expertise within forecasting, requirement gathering, delivery execution, timeline creation, etc.
• Comfortable working with individuals/teams on a global scale
• Experience inperformance testing using multiple protocols (must)| HTTP/HTTPS, RTE, web services (REST, SOAP, JSON)
• Analyze scalability, throughput, and load testing metrics against test servers.
• Measure, report, and recommendperformanceResponse Time Guidelines/SLAs.
• Experience buildingPerformanceBenchmarks and workloads,performanceanalysis
• Experience in various testing tool suites like JIRA, Confluence
