Job summary

Kitacon Sdn Bhd seeks a Technical Assistant in Penang to prepare, modify, and update 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD. You will assist engineers and project teams with drafting and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specs.

The role requires reading complex construction drawings and coordinating with site teams. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage; candidates should be able to work independently or within a team on varied construction projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand construction, architectural, structural, or M&E drawings.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and update 2D technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist engineers, architects, and project teams with drafting and technical documentation.
• Prepare detailed drawings based on site requirements, design specifications, and instructions from the technical team.
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Make revisions and amendments to drawings as required.
• Assist with preparing as-built drawings and maintaining drawing records.
• Coordinate with site teams to obtain necessary measurements, information, and technical details.
• Perform other technical and construction-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD

Minimum 2 years' experience in Technical (Construction) is an added advantage
