Job summary

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) is seeking an Executive for Technology Ecosystem Maintenance & Support to ensure the availability and continuous improvement of its business applications and IT systems.

You will monitor performance, implement maintenance, support enhancements, develop reports, and manage user requests while adhering to IT policies and service levels. The role may involve after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in application development and support, enterprise system support or related IT environment.
• Exposure to programming languages and database systems.
• Knowledge of applications, desktop environments, networking and Microsoft servers.
• Familiarity with ITIL Service Desk; ITIL certification would be an added advantage.
• Good communication, troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Able to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willing to support outside normal working hours or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain business applications to ensure optimum performance and availability.
• Perform planned and corrective application maintenance.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades and application development based on business requirements.
• Develop reports, tools and data extracts based on user requirements.
• Manage user requests and provide suitable IT solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and application change management.
• Participate in IT/application projects from implementation through handover.
• Manage application user accounts and access.
• Provide Service Desk and application support, including troubleshooting and resolution within agreed service levels.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, information security and relevant procedures.
