Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Technology Ecosystem Maintenance & Support in Malaysia. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining business applications, performing planned and corrective maintenance, supporting upgrades and development, and handling user requests with strong service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent, experience in application development and support, exposure to programming languages and databases, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or equivalent required.
• Experience in application development and support or enterprise system support.
• Exposure to programming languages and database systems.
• Knowledge of applications, desktop environments, networking and Microsoft servers.
• Familiarity with ITIL Service Desk; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Good communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical solutions clearly.
• Willing to support outside normal hours or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain business applications for optimum performance and availability.
• Perform planned and corrective application maintenance.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades and development per business needs.
• Develop reports, tools and data extracts based on user requirements.
• Manage user requests and provide suitable IT solutions.
• Support UAT and application change management.
• Participate in IT/projects from implementation to handover.
• Manage application user accounts and access.
• Provide Service Desk and application support with SLA adherence.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and information security.
