Job summary

ONYX Hospitality Group is seeking a front desk receptionist in Malaysia to handle guest check-ins/outs, pre-register guests, and relay key information to departments. You will maintain confidentiality and ensure room access security in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or 1 year of front desk experience, strong customer service, and English proficiency; knowledge of Opera/Micros is a plus. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or 1 year of front desk experience in hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills.
• English language proficiency; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of Opera/Micros system is advantageous.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Accurate data entry and computer systems proficiency.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle high arrivals/departures.

Job description

• - Employ attention to detail in order to ensure security of guest room access. - Issue safe deposit boxes to guests and ensure security of key. - Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with housekeeping.

Qualifications:

• Min diploma or one year of front desk experience in the hospitality industry or equivalent. - Strong customer service skills. - Excellent command of English language knowledge of other languages is a plus. - Sound knowledge of Opera/Micros system is an advantage. - Must be available to work flexible scheduled including nights
• weekends and holidays. - Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems - Ability to work well under pressure
• dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
