Mewah Dairies Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Material Planning to manage procurement and planning of packaging materials and minor ingredients to support uninterrupted production operations.
You will work closely with suppliers, logistics, production, QA, and R&D teams to ensure material availability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Mewah Dairies Sdn Bhd is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive, Material Planning to manage the procurement and planning of packaging materials and minor ingredients to support uninterrupted production operations. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, logistics, production, QA, and R&D teams to ensure material availability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Purchase packaging materials and minor ingredients and ensure sufficient stock availability for production usage.
Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, production, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of materials, avoiding production downtime.
Assist the R&D team in sourcing and coordinating sample requirements for new packaging artwork preparation as requested by customers or headquarters.
Ensure proper documentation and record management for the Material Planning Department, including Purchase Orders (PO), packaging material artwork, PIRF information, and related documents in both hardcopy and softcopy formats.
Source and evaluate new suppliers for packaging materials and minor ingredients to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and supply continuity.
Understand and manage the implications of import duties, permits, and Sales & Service Tax (SST) on purchased goods.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining updated documentation required for Food Safety and Halal certification compliance.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior or management from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Food Science, or a related field.
At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.
Experience in Supply Chain, Material Planning, Procurement, or Manufacturing environments is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good command of English, both spoken and written.
Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in Supply Chain, FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Dairy Manufacturing, or related industries will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of import processes, permits, SST requirements, and supplier management.
Familiarity with Food Safety and Halal documentation requirements is preferred.
