Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in customs compliance, customs brokerage, or trade-related roles.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills to drive compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Customs Declaration Control Tower and Compliance teams.
• Oversee nationwide customs declaration operations with timely, accurate submissions.
• Ensure full compliance with RMCD regulations, including HS classification and permits.
• Act as main escalation point for customs issues, audits, and regulatory engagements.
• Build relationships with key customers while guiding the Customer Relations team to timely responses and proactive client engagement.

Team Lead, Customs Declaration - Customer Relations Management

• Lead and manage the Customs Declaration Control Tower and Compliance teams, driving performance, development, and a strong culture of compliance and accountability.
• Oversee nationwide customs declaration operations, ensuring timely, accurate submissions and standardized processes across all branches.
• Ensure full compliance with RMCD regulations, including HS classification, valuation, permits, and trade compliance requirements.
• Act as the main escalation point for customs issues, audits, investigations, and regulatory engagements with authorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers while leading the Customer Relations team to ensure timely responses, effective issue resolution, and proactive client engagement. Monitor customer satisfaction levels and drive initiatives to enhance service excellence and customer retention, while supporting the Sales team through customer visits, presentations, and the development of tailored solution proposals.
• Monitor KPIs such as declaration accuracy, clearance turnaround, compliance rates, and cost of non-compliance, and report performance to management.
• Drive risk management, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, process optimization, and governance frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in customs compliance, customs brokerage, customer relations management, freight forwarding, or trade compliance.
• Strong leader in customs or logistics operations with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, able to drive compliance, manage teams, and ensure accuracy in regulatory matters.
