Job summary

Pusat Jagaan Bestari Impianku in Subang Bestari, Selangor, is seeking a caring Teacher / Childcare Educator to join our team. You will create a nurturing environment that supports each child's learning, confidence and growth.

Responsibilities include supervising 6–12-year-olds, helping with homework, guiding reading and writing, and running educational and enrichment activities. Fresh graduates and internship seekers are welcome; strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English is valued;

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification; candidates with STPM, Diploma, Degree, Early Childhood Education, Education or related qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with children, tutoring or teaching is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in childcare, tuition centres, student‑care centres or primary education are preferred.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Patient, responsible, caring and comfortable working with children aged 6–12.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children aged 6–12 in a safe, positive and nurturing environment.
• Assist children with homework, school assignments and daily learning activities.
• Provide guidance in reading, writing and basic academic development.
• Conduct age‑appropriate educational, creative and enrichment activities.
• Support before‑school and after‑school routines, including arrival, dismissal and daily activities.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised and child‑friendly environment.
• Support meal times and ensure children practise good hygiene and appropriate eating habits.
• Monitor children's behaviour, wellbeing and participation in activities.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents regarding children's daily progress and activities.
• Adhere to health, safety and safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the Principal and other staff to maintain high standards of childcare and learning.
• Participate in centre events, celebrations and enrichment programmes when required.

Pusat Jagaan Bestari Impianku is a nurturing childcare and student-care centre in Subang Bestari, Selangor, providing a safe, caring and enriching environment for children aged 6–12 years.

We aim to support children not only in their daily care, but also in their learning, confidence, character development and overall growth.

About the role

We are looking for a caring, responsible and enthusiastic Teacher / Childcare Educator to join our team and become a positive role model for the children in our care. You will create a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports each child's developmental, emotional, and academic growth. This position is fundamental to delivering our commitment to excellent early childhood education and care.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and care for children aged 6–12 years in a safe, positive and nurturing environment.

What we're looking for
