Job summary

Babies Town Child Care Centre in Sepang invites passionate early childhood educators to join our team. You will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities aligned with our curriculum, observe and document children's progress, and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.

You will support emotional and social development, communicate with parents, and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices while upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• A recognised early childhood education qualification or teaching certification relevant to early childhood care and education.
• Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education or care setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development, play-based learning, and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and experiences that align with early childhood curriculum frameworks

Observe, assess, and document children's development, progress, and learning outcomes using appropriate observation and assessment tools

Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and play-based learning

Support children's emotional and social development by building positive relationships, managing behaviour, and promoting emotional regulation

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, development, and any concerns or milestones achieved

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent care practices, share best practices, and support each other's professional development

Implement health, safety, and hygiene protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements and centre policies

Assist with routines such as feeding, toileting, and rest times, ensuring children's physical needs are met with care and sensitivity

Participate in professional development activities, training sessions, and staff meetings to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all centre policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A recognised early childhood education qualification or teaching certification relevant to early childhood care and education

Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education or care setting

Strong knowledge of child development, play-based learning, and age-appropriate teaching strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Patience, compassion, and genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene

Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs and interests of individual children

A background check and immunisation records as required by local regulations
