Job summary

Little Genius Seberang Jaya is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Seberang Jaya, Penang. This full-time role involves nurturing young minds in a safe, inclusive setting and delivering developmentally appropriate activities.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, strong English communication skills, and the ability to read/recite al-Quran and teach salat.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Education, Childcare or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching or childcare certification/credentials as required by local regulations.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and preferably Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to read and recite al-Quran and teach salat.
• Patient, creative and flexible approach to teaching and problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities and lessons tailored to the needs and interests of young children
• Create a warm, welcoming and nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity and confidence
• Observe and assess children's development and progress, maintaining detailed records and identifying areas for growth

About the role

Little Genius Seberang Jaya (Islamic preschool) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This is a full-time position based in Seberang Jaya, Penang. As a Teacher in early childhood education, you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young minds during their foundational years. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment where children can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. This position is central to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key responsibilities

What we are looking for
