Job summary

Pristine Baby Care is seeking a dedicated caregiver to join our infant care team in Selangor. The role involves providing attentive care for babies, managing feeding, hygiene, and individualized schedules, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

You will record daily observations, coordinate with parents and Head Teacher, and collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure smooth daily routines. Prior experience and relevant qualifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education preferably.
• Permata, Kap, relevant childcare qualification is added advantage.
• Passionate about caring for infants aged 2 to 18 months.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsive care for babies throughout the day.
• Handle feeding, milk preparation, diaper changing, bathing, and hygiene routines properly.
• Follow each baby’s individual feeding, sleeping, and care schedule.
• Monitor babies’ health, temperature, skin condition, bowel movements, appetite, and general well-being.
• Conduct age-appropriate sensory, motor, language, and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe baby-care environment.
• Clean and disinfect toys, feeding equipment, sleeping areas, and frequently used items.
• Record feeding, milk intake, diaper changes, sleep, activities, and other important observations.
• Ensure babies are supervised at all times and follow safe-sleep and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding the baby’s daily routine, development, and concerns.
• Report unusual symptoms, injuries, incidents, or developmental concerns to the Head Teacher/Management immediately.
• Work closely with other teachers to ensure smooth daily routines and proper handovers.

Skills

Diploma/degree in ECEC preferably

Permata/Kap qualification an advantage

Cares for infants 2–18 months

1 year related field experience
