Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring for an infant care role in Selangor. The caregiver will provide attentive daily care for babies aged 2 to 18 months, including feeding, hygiene, and schedule-following activities.

Applicants should have a Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, with Permata/KAP qualifications an added advantage, and at least 1 year of related experience. Training will be provided and a collaborative team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Permata, Kap, relevant childcare qualification is added advantage.
• Passionate about caring for babies aged 2–18 months.
• Minimum 1 year of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsive care for babies throughout the day.
• Handle feeding, milk preparation, diaper changing, bathing and hygiene routines properly.
• Follow each baby’s feeding, sleeping and care schedule.
• Monitor babies’ health, temperature, skin condition, bowel movements and appetite.
• Conduct age-appropriate sensory, motor, language and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe baby-care environment.
• Clean and disinfect toys, feeding equipment and sleeping areas.
• Record feeding, milk intake, diaper changes, sleep and activities.
• Ensure babies are supervised at all times and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding daily routine and concerns.
• Report unusual symptoms or concerns to Head Teacher/Management.
• Work closely with other teachers to ensure smooth daily routines and handovers.

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding the baby’s daily routine, development, and concerns.
• Report unusual symptoms, injuries, incidents, or developmental concerns to the Head Teacher/Management immediately.
• Work closely with other teachers to ensure smooth daily routines and proper handovers.
