Job summary

REN Wellness Retreat, by ERMS Berhad, invites a TCM Assistant to join its Traditional & Complementary Medicine Centre in Subang Jaya. You will assist the pharmacist, prepare herbs, and support practitioners in acupuncture, cupping, and other therapies.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Traditional Chinese Medicine; fresh graduates welcome. Rotational shifts including weekends. Join a luxury wellness destination focused on integrity and patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

• Prior experiences in a TCM exposure is an added advantage.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and a deep understanding of TCM principles and modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Open to working on a rotational basis, including Saturday & Sunday, to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the TCM pharmacist in selecting, checking, and preparing raw herbs to ensure freshness and quality.
• Prepare herbal decoctions, powders, and other formulations under the pharmacist’s guidance.
• Handle processing, packaging, and labelling of herbal products while maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain and organize herbal inventory, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment.
• Assist TCM practitioners with treatments such as acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and herbal therapies.
• Provide health assessment, pre-treatment and post-treatment care for patients to ensure comfort and safety.
• Guide patients through the consultation and therapy process, including registration, treatment preparation, and post-care guidance.
